How it works
Four things, in order. Nothing here is a holding pen. A cat comes in, is fixed, and is placed only after the home is checked.

Fosters and adopters are vetted. A cat goes to people who were checked, not only to the first person who asked.

The cat leaves with a future. Care up to that point has covered food, stress, recovery, and the ordinary days after surgery.
